As a result of the COVID lockdown, Whānau Mai (Te Puawaitanga’s kaupapa Māori pregnancy and parenting programme) was no longer able to continue in its group format. As it moved to an online format, videos were developed to readily deliver some of the course’s content. CanBreastFeed did the breastfeeding sessions in the wānanga so Kelly made this video to be shared with those who would have otherwise attended the programme. It is relevant for anyone planning to breastfeed and particularly looks at some things that can support breastfeeding even when things are a bit rough.
It is 28 minutes long, so either grab a cuppa, or watch over a few sittings. It has information relevant to support people too so invite them onto your sofa, or, if they are not in your bubble, feel free to send them the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR4CsKlNvl8
